Effective Classroom Visits for Kindergartens’ Principals in Alignment with Quality Standards

This specialised workshop supports KG leaders in conducting effective, structured, and quality-aligned classroom visits as an essential tool for monitoring teaching and learning and identifying professional development needs. The workshop focuses on observing classroom practices against relevant quality expectations, identifying strengths and areas for development, and using observation evidence to understand teachers’ training and professional development needs. Participants will explore how to plan classroom visits, use objective observation approaches, gather reliable evidence, provide constructive feedback, and distinguish between individual performance issues and wider professional development needs. The workshop will also demonstrate how classroom-visit findings can be analysed and translated into targeted training priorities, professional development programmes, and follow-up actions that contribute to continuous improvement in teaching and learning quality.
