The conference activities on its first day included three sessions, featuring 11 working papers, with wide participation from representatives of participating entities. The first day was opened by Dr. Fatima Al Balushi, Chairperson of the Board of Trustees of the Bahrain Trust Foundation, who spoke about modern teaching methods and the experiences of some pioneering countries in the field of quality education and teaching curricula. The Republic of Iraq participated with a working paper presented by the representative of the Iraqi Embassy in Bahrain, Counselor Dr. Hadeel Talal Al Azzawi. The paper included a proposal to add a new curriculum entitled "Cultures of Peoples," which aims to enhance students' understanding of different cultures and broaden their horizons regarding global cultural diversity….
